CPQ 22C/CPQ Salesforce Connector version 8.2 compatibility for Salesforce Community users

Can someone confirm if CPQ Salesforce Connector version 8.2 is compatible with Oracle CPQ 22c to enable CPQ access for Salesforce External users? 

We are having issues with enabling the 'Create Quote" button in Salesforce PRM [Salesforce Community Users], while connecting to Oracle CPQ, and using the connector/managed package; we are troubleshooting and want to verify the version compatibility for external users. The button remains static, with no further functionality.

Salesforce PRM community users were able to see the quotes object but are not able to create quotes. It is working as intended for internal salesforce users.
