PSFT EX 9.2:Using Google Maps with Peoplesoft Fluid Expense Mileage calculator

Hi,

We have recently implemented mileage calculator and having some issues because it requires the users to enter complete address. Is it possible to use google maps with this functionality instead of Oracle maps? Has anybody ever used google maps with mileage calculator? and if yes,

  • Does that allow partial addresses?
  • Would there be any need for code customization, or the same code can be used by modifying the IB to point to google maps instead of oracle maps?
  • Would we need any additional Licenses, if we choose to use google maps instead?
