CHARGEBACK RB DOCUMENTS IN JDEDWARDS

A delinquency provision was made for customer 999, batch 950000 dated 9/30/2021 of several invoices, for example, RI21005852 from June 2021.

The chargeback is dated September 2021 but the original invoice is actually dated June 2021, this is the date on which the aging must be calculated. What we find is that when doing RB there are two accounting incompatibilities:

1) the age is not calculated from the date of delivery of merchandise (which is the date of the RI)

2) the RI number of the submitted and actual invoice is not saved. (that is, in aging the RB number appears as if it were the invoice number when it is not)
