Data conversion for Projects

we want to migrate all approved /Open Projects , Projects Agreements,Budegts ,Expenditure items etc from legacy system to EBS R 12.1.3. we are using Project costing, Billing modules

please share any white paper or documentation /best practice for these objects for Data conversions bringing Projects, Agreements and Budgets into Oracle Projects 

I am aware bringing Projects, Agreements and Budgets into Oracle Projects using APIs but looking for process documents/white paper/best practice for these data conversion.
