CONCURRENT SAME SERVER OUT_OF_PLACE 12C TO 19C UPGRADE TESTING

Hello,

We are planning a 2 node RAC 12.1.0.2 Standard Edition upgrade to a 19c RAC Enterprise Edition using out_of_place upgrade techniques on the same AIX 7.2 server.

After the new 19c grid and Oracle out_of_place homes have been built on the same server, we would like to verify the steps to allow concurrent testing of the source 12c database and the new 19c database (the Oracle Upgrade Guide does not cover this specific area) environment.

After a successful upgrade both source 12c database and 19c target database have the same name.
