Dependent Proof/Qualified Dependent Box on Update Dependent/Beneficiary

PeopleSoft 9.2 Image 34 upgrading to Image 42

We use base benefits only. Is there a way to have the Dependent Proof/Qualified Dependent Box automatically check if the dependent beneficiary type is Dependent or Both?

We have a third-party vendor and by the time it gets to us all documentation has been received and verified.

In my testing, I'm noticing that you have to have that box checked in order to enroll them in benefits unless there is some type of configuration that I am missing. Please advise.
