How to track partial issues/returns of Lot controlled/ Non - Serialized items?
We currently leverage PeopleSoft inventory (PUM 44 - Nov 2022) to track valuable inventory including emergency supplies. While tracking issues/ returns of serialized items is seamless, we are unable to do so when it comes to Non- serialized items including Lot controlled items as we are unaware of a delivered way of tracking individual items within a lot.
For Example -
(1) I issue out 100 of Item ABC Lot ID 123
(2) I issue out 50 of Item ABC Lot ID 123
(3) I issue out 75 of Item ABC Lot ID 123
(4) I received a return of 150 Item ABC Lot ID 123
As delivered, we are unable to determine which 150 items were returned. Currently, we are using the Express Issue and Express Putaway components to issue out and restock items.
