Emails sent from Oracle got bounced back -550 Messages should have one or no To header
Recently, we saw Oracle eInvoice and remittance emails got bounced by Gmail and a few other email services with message like “this message is not RFC 550-5.7.1 5322 compliant: duplicate headers” or “550 Messages should have one or no To headers, not 2.”.
We observe that some Oracle email samples that do have two To email headers (see example below). It appears that for every To email address Oracle generate a To header. Please help in investigate and correct the issue.
The application is adding two “To” headers in the email and is likely the root cause of the bounces by Google.
