ASMLIB for Oracle Linux 7.9

Experts,

We've configured ASM on Oracle Linux 7.9

But we did not install / configure asmlib plackage.

But we could able to configure ASM without installing ASMLIB package.

On Oracle Linux 7.9 , do not we need asmlib to configure ASM !
