UK Payroll: Are zero value NI results showing on all Statement of Earnings in 12.2?
We're in the process of upgrading from 12.1.3 to 12.2.11 and during the UAT phase our eagle eyed payroll colleagues found that zero value NI results are not showing on all statement of earnings.
We have two examples where zero value NI results are not displayed on the SOE:
- Leaver with zero gross pay and zero net pay - payment is being offset with deduction for the same amount.
- Current employee with gross pay below lower earnings limit (LEL) and positive net pay.
And one example where the zero value NI result is displayed on the SOE:
- Current employee with gross pay above LEL but below primary threshold and positive net pay
