How to solve INET_E_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND when trying to launch OVM management console?

OVM 3.2.9 in VirtualBox 6.1

Dear OVM experts,

Working for years, my OVM has decided not be accessible anymore. When using the URL

https://<OVM address>:7002/ovm/console

(as always) now I just get 'website does not exist' and error code INET_E_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND. I.e. I even don't get the login screen anymore.

Tested various browsers, with various settings (compatibility mode, TLS1.0, SSLv3, etc) , no chance.

In MOS notes, install docs, google, etc I was not able to find a solution yet.

Any ideas where to look or what the reason could be?
