Has anyone experienced Excel to CI with CI_POSITION_DATA updating LASTUPDDTTM/LASTUPDOPRID wrong?

Has anyone experienced Excel to CI with CI_POSITION_DATA updating LASTUPDDTTM/LASTUPDOPRID on older rows incorrectly with the current date and user instead of maintain the historical data?

For instance, we are inserting rows effective 10/27/22, they are successfully inserted; however, the LASTUPDDTTM/LASTUPDOPRID on older rows not effective 10/27/22 nor staged in the Excel to CI template are updated/overridden with today's datetime and user instead of maintaining the history.
