Older Java version in OPatch_SAVED directory after patch update

Product : Oracle 19C Enterprise 

Path :  /u01/app/oracle/product/19.0.0/db_1/OPatch_SAVED/jre/bin/java

After running the Java SE Critical patch updates we could notice older versions of java are in the Opatch_SAVED directory. In our system we have version starting from 2018 till latest patch update.

1) When will this older version be cleared ?

2) Is it safe to clear these older versions manually ?
