In PeopleSoft Maintenance Management: Transferring a Work Order from one WO BU to Another?
In the MM Idea Space we had someone request the ability to transfer a work order from on WO BU to another WO BU. If this is of interest, could you please answer the following questions so we can understand the type of enhancement required?
- What is the main reason for performing a WO interunit transfer? (i.e. Accidentally created the WO in the wrong BU, Asset was transferred to another BU, WO BU's are closely linked and WO's often get created in the wrong BU?)
- How often is a WO created in the wrong BU?
- Would the transfer of the WO only occur before anything is charged to it? (i.e. labor, requisitions, inventory parts, tools, etc.)
