19.17.0 Patching with OOP throws error CLSRSC-180

in Database Install/Upgrade/Opatch (MOSC) 2 commentsAnswered

I am patching 19.16.0 non RAC grid/db hosts to 19.17.0. We use the out of place patching method. When the clone step gets to the unlock CRS home I get the following failures:

Unlocking CRS clone home for home /u01/app/oracle/product/19.16.0/grid.

 Prepatch operation log file location: /u01/app/oracle/crsdata/ulq135/crsconfig/hapatch_2022-11-02_08-25-01AM.log

Failed to unlock crs clone home for home /u01/app/oracle/product/19.16.0/grid.


Execution of [SIHAShutDownAction] patch action failed, check log for more details. Failures:

Patch Target : ulq135->/u01/app/oracle/product/19.16.0/grid Type[siha]
