Best Practice When Importing Rule Sets to the ESSBASE cube

Hello All,

I am not sure if I categorized this message on the right forum but I took my best guess.

The ESSBASE GL Allocation Rule Sets needs to be updated for the BFY 2023.

I have not been able to find a best practice when to do this update.  

Answers I am seeking: (1)  Is it ok to import, validate and deploy the rule sets from the Calculation Manager during regular business hours?  

(2) Will this interfere with the job "Transfer Control Budget Balances to Essbase?'   Should we stop these jobs while updating the Rule Sets?

Any assistance in finding this answer is appreciated.
