E1: 30: Pay on Consumption

Hello,

we would like to use Pay on Consumption for our consignment items (purchased items still belonging to our suppliers, but to be triggered in our JDE). We went thru the documentation and its obvios, that the setup is not that complicated. However, the question that came up (and I don't know if it belongs to Pay on Consumption or Receipt Routing) is following:

When using Receipt Routing we usually receive the items into or Dock or Stagging location. Then we move it at some point to a final location (rack) prior to let workorder completion do the purchase order receipt and inventory issue). Can we do an inventory transfer at any time the inventory is not at the final step of receipt routing from one location to another ? Does this step (e.g. Receive to Dock) needs to be set as on hand = yes) ?
