JDK patches installed with Oracle Quarterly PSU patches

It looks like the JDK patches in Oracle Home is always one quarter behind.

For example, after I install October oracle DB PSU patches, the JDK version in Oracle Home is JDK8U341. But the latest October 2022 JDK patches is version JDK8u351.

Do we suppose to install the latest JDK after installing the Oracle Database PSU patches?


For example, for Oct 2022, do we need install Patch 34422617 on top of the DB PSU patch? Can Patch 34422617 be installed in Oracle Database home? or Just the Oracle Client Home?
