How to skip Scheduler recurrence jobs i.e. hourly, minutes after maintenance activity.

We have a requirement where we have maintenance activity for two days, after activity we want the jobs that are running hourly, every 10/15/30 minutes to be skipped after we start the scheduler.

How can we skip these schedules to avoid accumulating job queue.
