How do I get a report request to capture data from an application as input to my request.

I am trying to launch a report orchestration from the PO inquiry application (P4310). I inquire on a specific PO to reprint but cannot get the PO number to pass to the report request. I am selecting. It is not clear how to pass that value to the report request. I would like to be able to inquire on records in an application and use the searched record as an input to a report request and orchestration.
