"bhyve" virtualization in Solaris 11.4?
Hi all,
just a short question: Are there any plans of integrating the "bhyve" virtualization to Solaris 11.4 x86?
It would be really a great feature for institutions with a Solaris infrastructure which is used for virtualization applications. Having a lot of non-global lightweight zones and a some kernel zones one the one hand, a few of our web applications need Linux on the other hand. As lx-branded zones are not available anymore, the only possibility to run virtualized Linux instances on a Solaris infrastructure is by using VirtualBox.
Virtualbox, however, does not perform very well in high I/O load situations.
