Oracle EBS 12.2.3 - ad&txk 12

Oracle Database 19.15 with a standby database

Oracle Linux 7.9 on VM on OCI

A consultant built our standby and then went on vacation for a month.,

It took about 3 weeks to fill up the archive log directory on both the primary and the standby.

The primary archive log dest is 100% full, the standby also. Deleted all the logs from the standby , but it didn't help. Was it suppposed to?

An Oracle SR was opened. They said the standby was too far behind and shut it down and deleted the archive logs.

Ok, so no standby, fine, we can rebuild it when we figure out how. Well, the fix didn't last.
