Detach 12c GI diskgroup and attach it 19c GI

Hi,


Can I detach a 12c GI diskgroup located on SUSE 11 move those disks to a REL 8 and attach them to 19c GI? I Would think this would work like SQL Server where I can detach a DB from Windows 10 SQL Server 16 move the underlying drive to Windows 16 and attach it to a DB in SQL Server 19.
