Absence Calculation - Entitlements - Employee on PLA
Does Absence Calc process employees with an EMPL_STATUS of "P" (Paid Leave)?
We have a custom absence entitlement for Paid Parental Leave (PPL). We manage the availability of this absence take using different eligibility groups. For example we have ELG1 which has sick and vacation. We also have ELG1PPL which has sick, vacation and paid parental leave. When an employee because eligible for PPL we change their group to ELG1PPL at which time they can then take that absence type on the Manager Timesheet in T&L. That all works fine.
However, we have an employee who had a new Job row changing their eligibility group from ELG1 to ELG1PPL on 11/2/2022, at which time their EMPL_STATUS was "A". On 11/3/2022 another job row came in for PLA/FML setting their EMPL_STATUS to "P". The employee then entered absences but when we closed the November calendar and opened December, the employee did not receive the PPL entitlement (setup to occur on take) and thus all the entered absences pulled into Payroll as dockage due to the missing entitlement.
