P6 status windows always on top of other windows

This has anoyed me for years. When importing a large xer file P6 will display its status windows for the import process on top of any other windows. So if you switch to another app to do some other work while the xer is importing, you will constantly get the P6 status window apearing on top of whatever else you are working on. Yes you can hide them as they appear, but it just shouldn't be like this. No other program I have ever used does this.

Has anyone found a way around this perhaps with a registry change?
