student financials - apply charges which are due NOW in a predefined order, NOT applying future ones

Hi,

I have a student financials question.

If a student has multiple charges which are due NOW in the same term (== charges are in the past) I want them to be applied in a predefined order of importance (== charge priority list)

If a student has also charges in the same term which are due in the FUTURE, I want the items which are due NOW (== charges are in the past) to be applied first. 

Is there a way to achieve this?
