Secured Rate on Speed Time Entry

We recently upgraded to 9.2 UN6. Our users have noticed a difference that wasn't present prior to this upgrade. They claim that if they would override the secured rate in Speed Time Entry and if the pay code they were entering was for overtime (so time and a half), that the system would take the overridden rate that they entered, say $30 and it would automatically update it to $45 (30*1.5=45).

Would this have been functionality that was depreciated/removed in the past five years by Oracle? I suppose it could have been custom code we put into P051121 but was wiped out when we upgrade to UN6.
