Can you customize the email to the Buyer when a Requisition is assigned

We have the Profile PO: Notify Buyer when Purchase Requisition is assigned set at the Function level. I have found a way to customize the notification sent to the Worklist but this does not customize the email sent from the workflow. Is there a way to customize the email?
