SmartView Error (12157) "Can't connect to the provider" after computer update
A SmartView user had just upgraded their computer to the latest Windows 11 release and in the process, it seems to have broken the shared URL connection to SmartView.
I have looked at this Document Display (oracle.com) in the knowledge base but this is a client-side issue not a server-side issue and I can't change that setting even if I wanted to. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the add-in to excel, adjust TLS Internet Options from control panel...and none of it works unfortunately. Any ideas besides upgrade the server application?
