Can Dev Workspace Remain Editable even after Delivery?

Can the developer workspace remain editable even after delivery to the integration workspace? Reason is that I would like the developers to be able to deliver their changes and later use the same workspace for new changes.

Advantage: it will lessen the number of dev workspaces being created in a release.
