edited Jan 30, 2023 2:24AM in Linux Operating System (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

Hi,

We are trying to mount a NFS share. It was succefull on other servers, but on the new ones it gives an error, "mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting". Checked the nfs-server, all looks ok, checked firewall, all looks ok. It a a nfs version 3, We use the same method on others servers and that is working fine. If anybody has some hints where i could check next?

"

mount -t nfs -vvvv -o vers=3 NAMEOFTHENFSSERVER:SHARENAME MOUNTPOINT

mount.nfs: timeout set for Tue Dec 20 11:18:11 2022

mount.nfs: trying text-based options 'vers=3,addr=XX.XX.XX.XX'

mount.nfs: prog 100003, trying vers=3, prot=6

Howdy, Stranger!
