OCOM 5.0 Installation Issues

Hi All,

We intend to do a fresh install of OCOM 5.0 (ocsm-5.0.0.4.0-627.x86_64.rpm) and integrate it with OCSBC 6300 running SCz9.0.

The MySQL database we want to install is MySQL Enterprise Edition version 8.0 (8.0.31-1.1).

We first installed MySQL and then installed OCSM. However, after installing OCSM MySQL doesn't run/start. The status of MySQL service is as follows.

[root@localhost ~]# systemctl status mysqld

● mysqld.service - MySQL Server

  Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/mysqld.service; enabled; vendor preset: disabled)

 Drop-In: /etc/systemd/system/mysqld.service.d

          └─10-pld-override.conf

  Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since Wed 2023-01-04 01:49:51 GMT; 3min 10s ago
