Source with GoldenGate 12.3 and target with GoldenGate 19.1

Hi All,

I have to do a data migration from DB2 to Oracle (a simple initial load with direct load method), and i have this situation:

  • SOURCE: DB2 LUW 9.7 with Oracle GoldenGate 12.3 (latest compatible release for DB DB2 9.7)
  • DESTINATION: Oracle Database 19c with Oracle GoldenGate 19.1 (first compatible release for DB Oracle 19c)

Can be this combination work and be compatible?

If this configuration is not possible, should I eventually migrate the data from DB2 to an Oracle 12.2 DB and then, from 12.2 to 19c?
