I am working on this project where I need to configure RMAN to backup evenly over 4 or more channels mapped to unix mount points that map back to backup solution that requires the data to be stored evenly across those 4 or more channels that it is mapped to. More over this will be for multiple databases of multiple sizes. I have found that the backups do not split the data up evenly on to those channels. I have seen instances where the backup will allocate the 4 channels and then only use 2 of the
