Is it possible to split the EMCC installation?

Is it possible to split the EMCC installation so the WLS/FMW stack is on one node and OMS is running on another? The thought from management is to have a group that specialized in WLS support to manage it on their node while the DBA group manages OMS on a separate node.

My thought is no, because OMS is basically a website and application logic that WLS needs access to those pages and logic to present on the website.
