should G/L offset (SDGLC) be updated during picking (R42520) or ship confirm (P4205) ?

If we use different G/L offset in the item / Location (F41021) (location A --> G/L offset 1, Location B --> G/L offset 2) will the pick generation program (R42520) and ship confirm (P4205) update the G/L offset in the sales order (SDGLC) when the quantity is taken from one of the location ? We expect G/L offset to be updated to "1" when qty is taken from location A, and to "2" when taken from location B.
