Shipment Approval Mandatory

in Distribution - JDE1 (MOSC) 2 commentsAnswered

When working with shipments under the TMS, is it mandatory to approve shipments in order to ship confirms? It will move the shipment status from 10 to 40 directly. Is that possible? I'm asking because of its implications regarding shipment charges calculation. Please consider that we're not working with loads in this environment.
