Installation of EBS 12.2.0 on Linux for a future EBS 12.1.3.2 Upgrade

in Install, Upgrade, Clone, Patch - EBS (MOSC) Question

Hello,

Currently we are using EBS 12.1.3.2 on a Solaris server (which we will call EBS12.1-SOL) with an Oracle 11.2.0.4 database on SOLARIS (which we will call EBSDB-SOL)

Our goal is to upgrade to 12.2.11 on a LINUX (which we will call EBS12.2-LINUX) still based on Oracle 11.2.0.4 (EBSDB-SOL).

Our procedure has been validated by an EBS ORACLE upgrade expert .

This procedure as it is defined requires excessive unavailability of EBS in production.

After reading the Oracle note: Best Practices for Minimizing Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2.n Upgrade Downtime (Doc ID 1581549.1) it is specified in paragraph 5.2.1.1 Laying Down 12.2.0 File System prior to upgrade
