This is unusual in that I’m asking a question to the community after SR #3-30645662921 has been raised and a great deal of investigation and testing has been done by both parties and is continuing.
I’d like to know if any other users have the same requirement as I do and if so what approach or solution they have applied.
I am currently in a non-production, project implementation phase where we are significantly expanding the use of WMS non-license plate. We have approximately 15K new locations storing 30K+ item codes which are a mixture of purchased and in house manufactured. Transport and storage of items around the business uses 10 different sized, company standard containers. At any given time each item will be associated with one of these containers which will have been selected by the Logistics team based on the item’s physical size, weight, batch size and target inventory levels.
