is it safe to update AR package ARP_MISC_CASH_DIST_PKG ?

hello, we have a requirement to make the value in the percent column to Null. in the Miscellaneous receipts distribution for any imported Misc receipts.

is it safe to pass NULL for percent column in the Insert statement inside the ARP_MISC_CASH_DIST_PKG ?

could it adversely affect any other functionality ?
