EBS 12.2.6 - SSA W2 Mag Media file type
The request Federal W-2 Magnetic Media, in the past, creates the e-file for SSA submission with a file extension of ".mf". Last year, the SSA changed their upload criteria and expect the file to have an extension of ".txt". They also recommend we zip up the file prior to uploading to reduce size.
So we had to rename the file last year from .mf to .txt then zip it.
Is everyone doing the same? Shouldn't Oracle just create it with a ".txt" extension if this is a new requirement?
