Item UOM changes from PL to EA

Item UOM changes from PL to EA after EDIT Line MBF is called when the transaction UOM is blank in P4210. This change is observed after Reprice UBE R42950 is executed. It is not a Dual Item. Is there a way to retain the original UOM (PL) instead of it changing to EA
