Is there a way to hide/turn off the reset password link in DV and PY sign in page?

Our company is currently on tools release: 9.2.7.2

We would like to have this feature turned off if at all possible. We do not have this feature set up so when users DO click the link, they are not receiving that email that prompts them to be able to do so. We think this may have something to do with the version that we are on.

We do not want users to get confused.
