Migration of objects between Different Versions

Good Day.

Just wanted to check if someone had some issue migrating objects between different versions.

Basically, we are planning to have an upgrade with our current Hyperion version. We are currently in 11.2.3 version and planning to migrate to 11.2.10 version. The plan is to do an in-place update where we are going to upgrade our current environments (Non Prod and Prod).

Just want to check the following scenario:

  1. If our lower environment is already upgraded to 11.2.10 and our Production environment is still in 11.2.3, then the user has an object that needs to be tested in the lower environment, what will be the recommended migration path? Is it okay to migrate objects between two versions? Will there be a possibility the objects/report will get corrupted?
