how to recategorize an asset in PeopleSoft from non-depreciable to depreciable category
How to recategorize an asset in PeopleSoft from Profile A (Non depreciable, useful life 5y) to Profile B (Depreciable, Useful life 10y).
As per our understanding, only by Recategorization this can't be achieved, recategorization only updates the Category on the asset and not the Useful life as per new profile/category, so this needs to be done in 2 steps first recategorize the asset to new Category and do a Book Adjustment to update the life as per new profile. Is there a way to achieve this by single transaction/step?
