Bill of Material (BOM) Query - Can you change item revision from LOV?

Hi,


We have a bill of material (BOM) against an item which has 3 revisions in total.

1) '### from 11-APR-2019 to 11-APR-2019'

2) '001 from 11-APR-2019 to 01-FEB-2023'

3) '003 from 01-FEB-2023 to 01-FEB-2023'


The user has added revision 3 in error. What I'd like to know is what options are available for updating and changing revisions.

The user wants to change the revision to revision 2. However, when I attempt to update this from the front end and save, forms just state 'no changes to make'.

I've thought about creating a new revision but documentation says the the dates (of each revision) are not suppose to overlap. Is it possible to delete the 3rd revision?
