Disaster recovery of two node RAC database

Hi,

If we have to recover a 2 node RAC database after O/S crash etc on same hardware or on similar new hardware what are the step-by-step instructions to be followed. My question is two parts:

1) what all the information we need to gather for O/S, Hardware, Oracle software, Disks/ASM before something happens. I guess we need oracle software verison, patch level, O/S patch level, disks attached to servers, ASM disk groups etc. Any of you have step-by-step commands of what information need to be gathered in case we have to replicate later

2) Once step 1) is done as before crash, step-by-step commands/instructions for RAC database recovery
