Receiving 'Planning Provider Error' when connecting formulas to FCCS via Smart View?

HFM to FCCS implementation - we are trying to take existing formula-based spreadsheets (ex. HSAlias, HSGet) and connect to FCCS and Power Users/Users are receiving 'Planning Provider Error' when doing so. They are still able to refresh existing Ad Hocs and create their own working formulas, but they are receiving the error when using existing formulas that have already been updated for FCCS (i.e. connection name, alias table name). The Admins are not experiencing the same problem. All suppression options are unchecked. Any ideas on how to work around this issue would be helpful - thanks!
