Can it be created a Siebel User ID which differs to the AD employee ID in Siebel Application?

Hi,

We have Siebel CRM (IP14) which is already running on. It is authenticated with Corporate Active Directory (Windows based). Employees login to the CRM application with AD user account ID (i.s. both AD account ID and Siebel User ID are similar).

Is it possible to use a different user ID name at the Siebel end without using the same AD ID name.

For example, my AD account is 10400. Same ID is used to login to the Siebel CRM application at the moment.

My question is, whether I can use the Siebel User ID like M10400 at the backend (in Siebel DB) while still my login ID to Siebel Application at front end is the AD account 10400 (without M in front).
