Can we have a report generated based on two datasets

Hi All,

I have a query in ECC, is it possible to have a report created based on two data sets available for that application? I mean to populate a report with few columns from one data set and other few from another data set, can this be achieved?

If yes, please guide me on how to join the two data sets and achieve the functionality.

If no, is there any alternate approach to achieve the same. I did try to have a custom data set created but couldn't execute the data load. Please enlighten me with the custom dataset as well if you were able to create one.
